So, how do you become a member in the National English Honors Society? I'm currently applying to Ph.D. programs, and I'm ashamed to say that I've never heard of that particular honor society!

I achieved it through an online creative writing class in high school. I think it mostly has to do with your grades, and English ability, like the National Art Honor Society, or the plain academic National Honors Society, which I'm also a part of. I'm pretty sure they have a website. You may be able to apply with writing samples or something. But, I'm rambling. I received my membership through school.

Nice, I'll probably do some searches online then and see what the qualifications are. Thanks for taking the time to explain. And don't worry about rambling. I do that too. ;)

You're welcome, hon. Good luck with your searches.

Thanks very much! I'll probably do the searches after submitting my Ph.D. applications. I have to get those done relatively soon. I'll let you know how it all goes, though!
