Fashion is a kaleidoscope of the times; what we wear not only reflects ourselves and our personal identities, but also reflects the spirit of the moment. My name is Stacey Thomas, and I am originally from New York, but I came to Kent State University in Ohio four years ago to study at the renowned Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Design and Merchandising.
I am a Fashion Merchandising major with a minor in Marketing, and I will be graduating with my Bachelor’s degree this May. I am the Kent State University Style Guru
, a website that specializes in fashion and style on college campuses worldwide. I have studied fashion in Florence, Milan, Paris, London and Hong Kong. My favorite designer brand is Marc Jacobs, for his originality and styling expertise. I am a huge fan of vintage clothing, taking risks, and rejecting the status quo. My professional aspiration is the travel the world, using my knowledge of international markets and their fashion preferences, to facilitate the introduction of existing fashion brands into burgeoning markets. Check out my blog on vintage fashion- Goodwill Huntingg.
I hope to be able to share my points of views on style and shopping here on Lunch.com
, and hopefully inspire my fellow fashionistas to be bold and make their mark across the American fashion scene.
