Good team makes Fun Nights Out

I am a transfer student and I have only been at LMU for a year, so I'll be honest, I don't know too much about the basketball team, its players or their track record. I do know however how much of a blast I had at every game I went to this past year. At the other two colleges I have attended I never went to basketball games, probably because neither of them had basketball teams so I had no prior experience of college related sports. However, when I got to LMU I started going to the basketball games with my friends and was pleasantly surprised. 

Not only did we always get free stuff, be it a shirt, bag or sticker but everyone was always so pumped up which made the games super fun. LMU also started tailgating before the games where we would get amazing BBQ food. As for the actual games I was fortunate enough to transfer to LMU the year that the basketball team got really good. Every game I went to was exciting.... but nothing beats the Gonzaga game. After beating a ranked team that was nearly impossible to beat, the entire crowd stormed the court. I was punched in the back of the head and trampled to the floor but the adrenaline completely numbed me and got me to jump back up and join the mob. Then there was parent weekend where once again we beat another good team.

Even though I had no previous experience with college sports and don't really know anything about the team or game, the men's basketball team never failed to give me and my friends a good night.
