A pleasure in many ways

Italy's Little Kitchen is a wonderful hole in the wall restaurant that serves great Italian food at relatively low prices.  The location is in Playa Vista off Lincoln and Manchester and less then a minute from LMU's front gate.  The atmosphere is always very quiet and gives off a very personable vibe.  In contrast to many other larger Italian food chains in Los Angeles,  Italy's Little Kitchen is made great by it's unobtrusive atmosphere , low lights, and soft music.

As far as food goes, even the starters there are amazing.  They have very good salads as well as bread and vinegar which is a great way to start a meal.  I usually have a pasta dish, and they have many different selections of the style to try.  I would also recommend having a glass of the many varieties of wine they have on hand.  I find the best to be the pinot noir, but their selection is vast so take your time choosing.

Italy's Little Kitchen is a refreshing change from other larger L.A Based restaurants and sure to be a favorite for any one who enjoys good Italian food and wine coupled with a quite atmosphere.

I wasn't old enough to drink when at LMU but I loved their garlic rolls. Their location so close to campus made this a favorite for those of us stuck without cars in the dorms.

That's right, it is better than C&O's.  Little Kitchen has none of those excruciating lines, crowds, or wait times.  None of that cheesy music blasting through the speakers that make guests yell at the top of their lungs across the dinner table.  None of that rushed attitude the servers give off as they try to get you out of there as fast as they can to rotate the tables.  When matched up with C&O's, the prices are exactly the same …
