My name is Laura, I am currently living in D.C. and attend American University. I am originally from Staten Island, NY. I am majoring in International Relations with a focus in Peace and Conflict Resolution. This summer I am interning in DC in Dupont and babysitting two wonderful children. I love it- except for this heat!

love your post about taking deep breaths ; ) we've always taught our three year old to use deep breaths when things get intense (which is a lot when you're a toddler = ) and recently, she's started using it on ME! reminding me to stop and take a deep breath when I get frustrated. anyway, welcome to Lunch! looking forward to more of your posts.
