How can you not want one? Typically found abandoned in the streets or lining the shelter cages, stray mutts in particular are not only super cute, but will love you unconditionally for all they've been through.
Chocolate labs are the best- I've grown up with quite a few amongst my friends and family. They're sweet, loyal and full of energy + totally fun and always down for a game of fetch or a dip in the pool.
Kind of like a mini boxer (boxer = house, puggle = apartment) From light beige to deep black in color, puggles are adorable, playful (although kind of crazy) + the perfect size...small enough not to take up too much space, but big enough to wrestle with
I've got a love hate relationship with these guys. They are sweet, beautiful and give you the cute puppy dog face at the shelters, totally deserving of good homes, yet some kind of scare me.. mostly due to a lack of training on the owners part
Border Collies are insanely intelligent and awesome show dogs, as they are extremely loyal to their owners. Plus, they're totally affectionate and fun to play with...
big & beautiful :) These bad boys are indigenous to South Africa, one of my newest favorites and the perfect way to complete my list!
