Barbra Streisand is one of the best singers ever. Her voice conveys such warmth, wisdom and hope. She is truly one of a kind. She sings so efforlessly on these tracks. She p ays tribute to the work of Alan and Marilyn Bergman on this two disc set. I am surprised that I learn that I already know most of these songs. I especially love the song "Solitary Moon". Chris Botti lends his talents playing the trumpet on this track. It sounds very smooth and romantic.

"That Face" is a song written by Alan Bergman to his wife Marilyn. This song has a sweet sentiment. This is largely because of the violin playing here. The musical arrangements are simply superb The piano playing is absolutely lovely. "Nice N Easy" has a dreamy romantic tone to it. I love the harp and piano playing here.

"The Way We Were","You Don't Bring Me Flowers and "How Do You Keep The Music Playing" are three songs I grew up listening to. It is great to listen to all these tunes in one collection. I love these three songs very much. "A Piece Of The Sky" and "Papa Can You Hear Me" are two beautiful songs from the movie Yentl. These songs are very uplifting and moving. Barbra can sing sad songs so well. "The Windmills Of Your Mind" is a sad song that she sings perfectly. "So Many Stars" is a pretty song. It has a hopeful quality that lifts my spirit. I love this music.
