Martha's is your quintessential neighborhood breakfast joint on the beach. On the weekends, the waiting list line extends around the block and the locals are pulled up the the checkered table cloth tables in their bikinis, board shorts and dogs--enjoying their breakfast (or lunch) fare. Easy access, great location, and good food (not amazing, but perfectly solid). Great spot for locals. My only wish is that the servers were friendlier. They're helpful and courteous, but you just don't get a very warm vibe. Not enough to deter us from the great, sunny, beachside location though.

Since there is always a wait here on the weekend, my tip is to go across the street, to the Green Store and get an orange juice while you wait. They don't have any special OJ, just minute maid, but it really helps to keep everyone in better spirits while waiting.

best place to hit when you want to ride down the strand on beach cruiser and pop in for breakfast. wait can be long on the weekends though
