Rayman DSi
Rayman has seen its fair share of port. As one of the best-selling PSX games, it's only normal that Ubisoft would try and milk it as much as possible. Aside from the original versions on console and …

Ninja Gaiden 2
I may be alone in saying this... but if I had to nominate a game for "most underrated sequel ever", that prize would probably go to Ninja Gaiden 2.      Still a combat game …

Dead or Alive Dimensions
I already wrote a Quick Tip for this game, but after 5 hours, let me change my score a bit. After all, there are some thing that just need to be said, in both good and bad. Probably more bad than good, …

Rise of the Robots [PC Game]
You know, it should be pretty easy to make a bad game. Just mess something up, and bam, you have a bad game. Really easy. In fact, I believe the average game quality out there tends more toward the lower …

Instead of making a normal review, let me tell you the five things I hate most in FPS games.      1) You will follow my orders, marine!  Many FPS pit you as the only hope against …

Duke Nukem Forever Demo
After 15 years, this is kind of a disappointment. The game has been modernized a bit, with recharging health and limited weapons inventory, and some QTE-like events for good measure. Unfortunately, they …

Dead or Alive Dimensions
Typical DOA, in most ways. Story has the usual "quality" of the series, which we should be used to nowadays. It controls pretty well, and there seems to be a bunch of unlockable extras, which …

The Lost Crown: A Ghosthunting Adventure
I'm used to games like Fatal Frame to the point that they don't really have much of an impact on me anymore, so to find something this creepy was a surprise. It's a take on the ghost-hunting …

Touhou 13
Pro tip, it looks like ZUN released his TH13 demo on the web. The demos were normally released at conventions for a small price, but not this time. Pretty cool of him. Now to try it.    http://kourind …

Achievement Unlocked 2
Oh my, oh my. There are many titles with videogames references out there, but not too many that actually reference videogame conventions. Like its tagline says, this is a meta-game about meta-gaming. …

Well, what a surprise. The game just got uploaded on Games On Demand. It's $30/€30. Should be good for europeans, since people are asking 60+ for a used copy. On a side note, could this be related …

Rayman 3D
This is a quick port of the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2. Don't expect to find anything new, because there is nothing. The added 3D is pretty nice though, with some cool effects, and a sense of depth …

For people who can't deal with mouse and keyboard, or jst don't want to play PC games. It's an ok port, with some graphic improvements (a widescreen option!) and a couple updates to help deal …

I just got the game. After two hours or so, it's exactly what I would define as "pure fanservice", with a dash of hack'n'slash, a bit on the boring side, with wonky camera. That's …

Oh wow, the 3DS does sound pretty good (though is it really that tiny to play DS games in original resolution on it?). I just gave my DS Lite away so now its my only way of playing the games, they arent just unplayable because of font size, etc?
March 25, 2011
It's not unplayable, but the difference in sharpness is impossible to miss. You are going to have to deal with it.

If you press Select and Start together while the DS game boots up, it will play inthe original resolution... it's properly sharp this way, but the screen size is a lot smaller. Imagine playing on a Gameboy Micro. Very annoying.
