10 Natural Skin-Saving Beauty Secrets

Everyone has products that they swear by - this is my list of daily products that keep my skin, face, hair, and body feeling healthy. I may not have the best skin out there, but as long as it feels the best it can be, I can't complain!
1
Jason Vitamin E Oil
My skin has never really been *awful* but it has it's moments of flaring up. To help heal my skin I typically apply Vitamin E oil before bed. Most people know of Vitamin E as a fix for scars and stretch marks, but it's also a great moisturizer! It makes my skin soft, removes redness, and of course helps eliminate any scarring from breakouts. I only buy it in it's pure form - I don't like any other oils mixed in. It's a bit sticky but once you rub it in it's not so bad. I swear by it!!
2
Queen Helene Natural Facial Apricot Scrub
I love exfoliating my face. I once heard that exfoliation is the best thing you can do to get glowing skin because it helps regenerate new skin growth. Regardless, I love the way my skin feels after exfoliating. This scrub is all-natural and smells delicious.
3
ZuZu Luxe Liquid Eyeliner
One of those makeup products I just can't live without. Also all-natural. Read my full review here!

4
Virgin Coconut Oil
I love this stuff. It has saved my skin during the driest times of year and I can't get enough. Read my full review here!

5
Alba Botanica Lip Gloss, Coconut Cream
I'm not so into wearing lipstick or lipgloss on my lips - what is the POINT if it doesn't moisturize? So I found this natural lip gloss and love it - it smells good enough to eat, gives my lips a glossy shine, and conditions to boot!
6
Benefit Cosmetics Benetint
A great product. Read my full review here!

*Note: The natural qualities of the product are up for debate. Until I get to poke around in their factory, I'm still going to use it :)

7
BASS Combination Bristle Brush
I have curly hair so most of the time it is more damaging to brush my hair than it is to not....but when I do, I love using this brush. It's got both wild boar bristles as well as regular bristles so your hair is shiny and soft as well as detangled.
8
Tweezerman Slant Tweezer
Hands down the best Tweezers out there. Period. They are expensive, but it's worth it because they come with a guarantee AND you can send their products back for a free sharpening when they stop plucking as well as they should!
9
Water
Water is the best thing on earth, no lie. Drinking tons of water is beneficial in so many ways, not just for your skin. I drink more water than I know what to do with myself, and I really think it's improved my quality of life tenfold!
10
Cashew
I love cashews (and most other nuts). Not only do they taste great but they also are a great source of "good fats" . I am convinced that eating good fat helps your skin (as well as your health)!

Love this list! My mom used to use Vitamin E capsules on her face regularly...I think I may have to be a chip off the ol' block and use vitamin E!

This Midwest raised boy will neither confirm nor deny that he might try a couple of these products. I mean, what's the harm in eating some cashews? :) Actually, I might try that vitamin E oil as I have dry skin which also gets sensitive when I shave. Shhhh...don't tell anyone back in Michigan!

I had no idea that Queen Helene made facial products, too. I'm going to have to check out that Vitamin B Oil and the coconut oil. Thanks for the awesome list! :)

By the way, I totally recommend this Burt's Bee Orange Essense Facial Cleanser!  Cleanses, moisturizes, and is all natural! :)
