Hi Merredith, it's been a long time since we've seen you on Lunch and I'd like to update you on some of the new features Lunch offers now! We've added Micro Reviews which are 100 characters or less and something called lists. For a more extensive look at what's been going on, take a look at our press page! 2010 will be a new and exciting year for Lunch and we hope to share that with you!

You're right ... we do have a lot in common. I guess that means the whole Similarity Network feature is working! Here are a few games you might like (based on the interests listed in your bio): Styles of Yoga, Women's Magazines, Movies, Music.

Well, I guess they had to start somewhere! I love Discovery because it makes geeky seem cool. That's pretty great that you were able to be a part of it! :)

Hi Rachel, I totally did play your Discovery Channel games, thank you very much. And I have to admit, I laughed when they popped up on my screen. VERY clever, and a great idea for discovering similarities. I'd love to tell you tha I wrote for Discovery Channel in its "While You Were Out" period -- or its "cool period," as we call it. But no. I wrote for Discovery before it was cool. I wrote for Discovery when it was geeky. I wrote for three shows, all of them tangentially about education or technology -- Best Seat in the Class (which would have been interesting, but its host was a teeny bit wooden); Champions & Challenges; Urban Education in America. I know -- I'm positive you watched them, didn't everyone? Some were actually inspiring -- in fact, my favorite school in the entire country is in South Central L.A. -- called Foshay Urban Learning Academy. I wish it were more exciting -- but it's the truth. :)

You worked for the Discovery Channel? Amazing. I hope you've had a chance to play the "Discovery Channel Shows" game I made! What shows did you write for?

Heya Meredith! I read your "About me" and was laughing to myself.. I had a roommate in London who was from Colorado and when I complained it was too cold, he would also tell me "that's because you've only ever experienced two seasons in California!" SO TRUE (It's been about 70-75 lately here!) I can't wait to see more of your reviews. Let me know if you need help with anything around the site!
