We are already a third into 2012 and I have had a good string of luck reading good books so far. Therefore I present to you the best books I have read to date.

A gripping tale where a prosecutor has to give up a case because his son is the prime suspect. A shadow of doubt is thrown over his son's innoncence and he has to fight the notion that his son may have inherited a violent gene. Keeps you guessing until the last page.

The Status Civilization and Notions: Umlimited
A tale that would have made an excellent episode of The Twilight Zone. With elements of the film 'Escape From New York", an accused murderer is sent to planet of criminals. He eventually comes across a secret society that is trying to escape the planet to get back to Earth.

Back of Beyond by C. J. Box
A recovering alcoholic cop's sponsor is found dead from an apparent accident. The cop realizes that this was no accident but probably a murder. The Deep Zone
A race to a very dangerous place to find a possible cure to an epidemic, greater than the Ebola virus, that could devastate the US military Tense drama from start to finish but beware if you are the least bit claustrophobic.
