I kinda like Bob Cousy of the old Celtics. Even back then he was considered short for a basketball player and yet he certainly was one of the most important factors in making the Celtics the team they were.

Cousy was retired as a player when I started watching basketball so I have only seen him on tape (I guess you can say the same for Babe Ruth who made my list but I am a Yankee fan all the way). If I had to pick a Celtic to add it would have been Larry Bird or Bill Russell (saw him play in his last season).
Russell out lasted Cousy but they were contemporaries when the Celtics were at their greatest.
