This list is only a start.  I know I will be adding to it.  I have only included films that I have already seen.  Honorable mention films that I have not yet seen include, Bang the Drum Slowly, The Bad News Bears, Eight Men Out.

Pride of the Yankees
A great story based on one of the most talented, accomplished yet tragic figures in modern sports history. Throw in a fun performance by the Babe himself and alot of entertaining supporting characters. Teresa Wright gives an Oscar qualitty performance as his wife.

The Natural
The best of the more recent baseball films. Robert Redford in the role of his career as Roy Hobbes, a promising pitcher who is the victim of a fan with a weird fetish. He comes back and singlehandedly leads his team as if by magic. Wonder Boy is as memorable as Thor's Uru Hammer! Campy but great ending that actually works!

A League of Their Own
Based on a true story, this whole movie is a lot of fun. It seemed like the women had a lot of fun making it. Geena Davis was awesome and even Rosie O'Donnell shines. This movie probably provided Tom Hank's most memorable line of all his movies "There's no crying in Baseball!"

Major League
I actually like a movie with Charlie Sheen! This movie is in the same genre as The Longest Yard! Several hilarious parts. Interesting that the year it was released the Cleveland Indians almost won the championship.
Field of Dreams
This might not have made my list but James Earl Jones and Bert Lancaster provide such strong performances that elevate this film enough to make my list.
Bull Durham
Introduced us baseball fans to the term "the show." One of the few movies that I could say I actually liked the performances of Robert Wuhl and Tim Robbins. Susan Sarandon was at her physical peak and is absolutely gorgeous! I guess Tim Robbins thought the same thing!
