In my quick tip about Lily, I remarked that I hope they didn't switch her out between seasons with an older girl showing a growth spurt of a few years so that we have another child on an ABC show to spit out funny lines and be as saccharine as possible. There was no way I was going to not make that joke. After 11 years playing put upon, low wage slave Al Bundy, Ed O' Neill plays Jay Pritchett who is a very similar character, a mans man who played football, watches westerns and works hard and got married to a hot wife but Jay is a success.
