We've all seen dumb kids on TV before, little ones like DJ from Roseanne, Bart on the Simpsons and even older ones like Kelly from Married With Children or Waldo from Family Matters, but could any kid or character be any more dumb then Luke?

Luke takes after Phil, his dad a little too much. Luke is childish, and not very bright. While Haylee is the mall creature with the cell phone stuck in her ear and Alex is the provoker and always causing trouble with her nose in a book then Luke is the dumb one with a box on his head, and not wearing pants, probably at the same time.
Theres nothing so much bad about Luke as it's just there really isn't anything special about him either. He's a dumb younger child in the house and I don't remember anything that special being made about him. Remarkable in that he's completely unreamarkable except for the traits he shares with other TV kids.
Luke isn't a bad character but so far that I've seen, he's a part of episodes but never been a major part of them that I can remember. I hope as seasons progress, he will be remembered for more then someone who might drown in his own drool.

Aw, I think he's a cutie! Well, for as aloof as he is, you must admit that he came through in Game Changer! :P

Hes a sweet kid, but I can't look at him and not think he's a dunce. I love Game Changer and yeah, he did save the day, only by being the person to take the iPad from someone else, but hey he did.

Luke Dunphy is Claire and Phil's rambunctious son, who is often doing his own thing. At times he can be a trouble maker, once shooting his sister with a toy gun and getting into a fight with Manny at school. Luke is very innocent and does not always understand the repercussions of his actions, like most children; he once announced at a family gathering that his mom thought her dad's new wife was a "coal digger." He is also thought to be a bit vacuous, because of many questionable actions; some of these actions that he is known for are getting his head stuck in the banister and jumping on the trampoline wearing only underwear and a box on his head.
