You and I have similar taste in directors. I've got a list of my favorites some where, though I can't find it just yet. You should check it out, see what you think. Until then, I rather like your list. Some of whom I may have to check out more by (I KNOW I've seen more by Robert Redford but for some reason can't think of any movies).

Yeah I like Directors that have unique,unconventional and controversial style they are the best. And good Robert Redford movies would be "Ordinary People", A river runs through it and The Legend of Bagger Vance. I would recommended "Lions for Lambs" but only if you have strong political views.
