Favorite War Movies

I love war movies and here are a some of my favorites in particular order. Most of them are under 30-40 years old, and yes I am aware Apocalypse Now, Casablanca, Patton, Western Front, Schindler's List, Swing Kids, etc. are not on here, Personal preference and if I just made a list of GOOD war movies there would be like 100 movies.

I wowuldn't call SCHINDLER'S LIST a war movie in the first place so I have no problems with it being excluded. Funny thing, I've watched FULL METAL JACKET several times but I always cut it off after Vincent D'Onofrio kills the himself because for me that's where the movie ends.

I think it could count as much as alot of other war movies. There's not any epic battle scenes like in Private Ryan, but the whole things revolves around a different aspect of World War II than just fighting. After looking at that list I should have also said contemporary wars and armed conflicts that the US was involved in since there's no movies that were set prior to WWII Lol.
