Little-known GEM of a film & one of my favorites with mostly a cast of unknowns at the time. Stephen Macht (Graveyard Shift) & Jason Hervey (Wonder Years) are familiar faces. Great kids frightfest! PG-13

The ORIGINAL HARRY POTTER! Michael Moriarty, Sonny Bono, Julia Louis-Dreyfus along with the incomparable June Lockhart & her daughter Anne Lockhart sharing a role! EXCELLENT PG-13 FILM!

A great pair of PG scaries for kids. Neat special effects & my favorite character, The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man! Remember, don't cross the streams! It would be BAD!

Another pair of films, although these are rated PG-13. Zach Galligan & Phoebe Cates star although are totally upstaged by the cute/cuddly/fluffy Gizmo & the mean/green/nasty Stripe!

Beautiful stop-motion photography from the great Tim Burton! Many great actors lend their voices, such as Catherine O'Hara(Sally), Chris Sarandon(Jack), William Hickey, Paul Reubens & Danny Elfman! PG

Another Tim Burton great w/Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse, Winona Ryder as the angst-ridden teen & The Maitlands played by Alec Baldwin & Geena Davis. Plus, great character acting by Catherine O'Hara. PG

Who doesn't love the Addams Family? With the late/great Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, & Christopher Lloyd. Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (MIB). PG-13 and also the sequel...

Which is just as great as the first. Adding to the cast is the highly underrated actress, Joan Cusack as Debbie Jellinsky & an addition to the Addams Family, baby Pubert (played by twin girls). PG-13

Bette Midler, Sara Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy as witch sisters in this PG "Disney box office bomb." (surprisingly!). Thora Birch (American Beauty) is also in the cast.

Great film with the fabulous puppets of Jim Henson! Anjelica Huston as the Grand High Witch who turns two little boys into mice & has an evil plan to rid the world of all children... PG rated.

Two great kid's films with Jim Henson directing Dark Crystal & Frank Oz at the helm on Labyrinth. The first stars Henson's puppets but the second has David Bowie & a young Jennifer Connelly. BOTH PG

I saved the best for last. Ray Bradbury's great novel/Disney produced w/Jason Robards, Piper Laurie, Johnathan Pryce, Pam Grier, & Diane Ladd. You will never forget Jim Nightshade or Will Holloway. A+++

I love TROLL --and not just because Michael Moriarty is one of my favorite actors, although I always break up when he slams the door and says "I don't know about you, but I'm listening to that tree!"

My granddaughter and I love this film. Our favorite scenes are "Ratburgers" and when Michael dances to "Summertime Blues"!
