He arrived, he came back, saved Vanessa Williams, met his clone and told Bennet to let off some steam. Arnold Schwarzenegger is synonymous with big action movies. These are my favorite 5.
Big action, big effects, an unstoppable villain and a big threat looming of nuclear war. Arnold said he'd be back and he wasn't kidding. The special effects are still awesome and the action is practically unparalleled.
See the full review, "I judge thee awesome".
High end stunts and top notch action help buoy the story which has sick posturing, machismo and plenty of stock cliched tough guy stuff for Arnold to pick up a gun and blow away, and I love the Rail Guns. I love those sounds they make, I love those blue corkscrew trails they leave and Arnold sports two of them in this movie.

One of Arnolds better movies dealing with the idea and ideals of cloning makes it a little brainier then the average Arnold movie. Arnold however does feel miscast with dealing such issues and better at the many laser shoot outs that happen in the movie.
See the full review, "And on the 7th day, God said "Hasta La Vista Baby!"".
Pure unadulterated destruction with a nice taste of 80s in this action film with Arnold getting geared up and ready to raise hell after a scumbag bananna republic dictator that Arnold helped overthrow kidnaps Arnold's daughter and demands Arnold assassinate the new leader of said republic. Arnold decides to wage a one man war of shooting and not hiding behind cover. This movie has a teeny tiny brain but loads of action to compensate for that fact.

No Kindergarten Cop? Horrors! Good list!

Haven't seen it. I lump that into Arnolds attempts at comedy like Junior (AGGHHHH!!!) and Jingle all the Way.
Oh yes, and Twins! I have yet to see Red Heat, Running Man and Last Action Hero. What was the one where he's in a game show? Now you have me wanting to make a list.

Running Man is the gameshow one. With Richard Dawson as the host. I don't think he kisses anyone though. Richard, not Arnold.
curiously I don't see TOTAL RECALL in this list. But hey, Commando is one mean entertaining movie. Nice list!

Total Recall is great but I need to see it again. I do remember it being REALLY bloody and violent and it overshadowed what was going on with the whole "Is it a dream or not"
