When I was growing up, my father and I watched horror and Sci-Fi movies every Friday and Saturday night. He called them "Gronk" movies after the character in BC Comics who says "Gronk." I thought it was a generic term that everyone knew when talking about monster and Sci-Fi movies. I was a teen when I realized that other folks didn't understand what that meant. However, I've raised another generation of Gronk movie afficionados and all is right with the world. After all, Saturdays ARE for Gronk Movies.
