I first saw this when I was in high school circa 2000.  At the time I was very much interested in living in New York City after having visited four times.  I also had a nostalgia for 1980's fashion and extravagance.  This movie is all the best of 80's opulence.  Do not watch this movie if you have a weak stomach or are sensitive to violence, because there is plenty of gore and violence in it.  Christian Bale does a wonderful job of conveying the self absorbed, narcissistic …

American Psycho is a remarkable film that stars Christian Bale who plays a reserved rich kid who's has an easy do nothing job in his father's company.
