I am amazed at all these bad reviews. Whereas maybe it was not on the same level as Get Shorty, there wre some captivating scenes. John Travolta and The Rock alone make this film reasonable. The back and forth hustles by all these hitmen can get a bit annoying. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the laughs and a decent storyline. Nothing that is going to win acadmy awards but certainly a nice light movie.

Before I saw this sequel, I had heard and read that it was a terrible film. However, Be Cool is still an enjoyable comedy even if it's not as good as the original. It's full of so much self-deprecating humor that you can't help but cut it a break. I laughed quite a few times, and there are a lot of fun moments.    However, the film is a bit uneven. The movie tries hard to find the humor in hit men and quirky characters, but it often seems to be trying a bit too hard. John Travolta …

Pros: Great Characters and The Rock     Cons: Thurman is underused, may be to over the top for some.     The Bottom Line: A very nice surprise and filled with laughs.     It has been ten years since audiences last saw Chili Palmer (John Travolta) a former criminal who uses his criminal experiences to become a successful film producer.
