You know what scares me about the thought of genetically engineered food? The probability that they'll design something that looks great, tastes reasonably good but totally lacks nutritional value because in their scientific hubris they just THINK they understand what it's all about. What's that got to do with GATTACA you ask? Well it makes me think of something I read in another review of the film, about how all the characters are emotionless and unengaging.
