Finally having the pleasure to see this movie on a lazy afternoon with my cats curled up on my lap, sunshine shining through cold November air and by boyfriend half asleep on the other side of the couch was an asset to my lazy and cozy day.
This movie is the third in the Ginger Snaps trilogy but it is a predecessor of the first original one, it also stars the famous sisters that appeared in the 1st and 2nd movie, they simply help to tell the story with the same characters, to imply the significance of the family bonds through the cursed times through the history.
This movie takes place in 19th Century Canada, where Brigette and her sister Ginger take refuge in a Traders' Fort which later becomes stalked and surrounded by werewolves. As the wolves attack the door, there is one in slow process of changing all ready in the fort unknownst to the people living there, except for a man who has a need to keep it as a secret.
The Sister arrive and hide there only to face what they were running away for. This movie shows lots of blood and gore and it's suspension packed. Terrific for a cold November evening. It has the similar feeling of the first two, in a way you enjoy it because you know how much you liked the first two and how great they are to watch,
