Pros: arrrrrgggggghhhhhhh

Cons: .........

Frankly I never thought I would ever find a movie in worst taste than Attack of the Killer Tomatoes or one with more references to other creature movies, but this guy has definitely taken incredibly bad movies beyond bad directly into disgusting!

Invasion Earth, etc. is a movie about people watching a movie about a movie. It is actually a parody of durn near every monster/horror movie ever grunted out by Hollywood and Japan, well, any anywhere else they make really insane movies. It blends scenes from other movies together into a movie on a screen at a movie theater while actually making a movie about all three things melded together. Confused? Ya gotta be there!

Starting with the invasion - a lot of the monsters I don't know by name, bear with me - of a really big eye( not The Crawling Eye, it comes later) into Dead Rock, Illinois, into the movie theater. The spaceship lands and the next thing you see is The Blob oozing through the register grate and overwhelming the projector dude while the audience watches Night of the Living Dead on the movie screen. After the Blob does his little ditty, the aliens (the big eye dude) take over the projector booth and infer that Planet 9 will be a piece of cake after this. The alien eye thing looks like a big ball with one center eye, tentacles and a snout like an elephant. He is a delightful shade of lavender and green stripes.

The next shot on the movie screen is Steve McQueen, with actual footage from The Blob, while the projector booth is destroyed by the aliens. The monster enters wearing a mask of Nixon, over his beetle-like face, he switches the movie to scenes from Invasion of the Body Snatchers, as the audience feigns boredom and falls asleep.

Rather than try to explain this ridiculous movie to you, I will just tell you it has scenes from the following movies: The Wolf Man, The Mummy, Carny, The Crawling Eye, The Brain, The Thing, Them!, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Frankenstein, Tremors, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Carapace, Godzilla :), King Kong :), I Was a Teenage Werewolf, Ants, Tarantula, HypnoVisita, The Mole People, Rodan, The Terror from Beyond Space, They Came from Beyond Space, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Three Stooges, Gigan, Attack of the Colossal Man (Or something like that), Squids, Gargantuan, Little Shop of Horrors, Mantis!, Angilas, Dinosaurs, Zombies, Mothra, Dracula, and 7 other movies I didn't know the name of nor their monsters <sigh> but I sure have seen the movies before. It all ends with a compilation of all these monsters made up into one of their own - quite an ugly beast!

It also cuts into that endearing commercial "Let's all go to the Lobby, Let's all go to the Lobby....to get ourselves a treat.....la, la, la", with the dancing popcorn, hotdogs and soft drinks.

Audience members include a fat dude with ‘plumbers crack', four black chicks jamming to their headphones, the couple from the American whatever painting with the pitchfork (you know who I mean, the farmer and his wife), two dudes with purple spiked hair, two blonde bimbos with ‘for sure' hair, a drunk with his brown bag sitting with a nun in her habit, two Hell's Angels, two Japanese students with cameras, and a whole lotta other weirdos, apparently including me!

The truly confusing thing is you are never sure if you are watching the movie on the screen in the theater, the movie they are making, or the movie we are supposed to be watching.
