No, this movie does not compare to the original DIE HARD. Let's just get that out of the way right off the top, shall we? I frankly can't imagine any movie comparing. It was one of those rare movies that turns an entire genre on its head...or even invents a new genre. How many DIE HARD rip-offs have there been?
