The first ROBOCOP was great. It has become one of the classic action films from the 1980s. ROBOCOP 2 was much darker, but suffered from a severe lack of originality. ROBOBCOP 3 is the last movie in the series and in it everything comes full circle. ROBOCOP has become a legendary agent of justice that the people of Detroit love, compared to the way the populace looked at him in the first film. The old man in charge of OCP has been removed and the company is taken over by a much larger Japaneese firm. OCP's longtime plans to own and take over the city of Detroit are finally brought to fruition. A Nazi-like state is formed and the citizens of Detroit begin a rebellion against the Rehabilitation Forces. In the process, officer Anne Lewis is gunned downed and Robocop/Murphy vows to avenge her death.

This is the one movie in the series that kids can actually watch. There's some violence, but instead of the grim and gritty kind of the first two films, it is a cartoon violence.

The movie has a better story than the second film, but not as well written as the first. Nevertheless, it's still a good way to end the series.
