I do have to agree with several reviewers in that I do feel this season was a bit darker that what has previously been presented. That being said, I personally feel that this season only added, in a positive way, to a series that is already great. It placed more emphasis on character developement than the previous three seasons and was certainly more thoughtful. I am not a big fan of most of what HBO dishes out to us, but in this case I feel they got it right. This is one of the few "T.V. Things" that I am going to hate to see end. All in all, I highly recommend.
