Pros: Good acting, good story

Cons: A little strange and gory

One of the strangest movies I have ever seen. I am usually pretty good figuring out how a movie (or book) will go - in fact, sometimes too much - but this guy lost me. I mean he killed her, she killed him .... wait, he is back, she is back .... what a plot twist! I really enjoyed it because I liked being stumped.

Half way through I got hugely confused .... had to watch it another time just to get the plot straight in my head. Kevin Bacon played his part well, Matt DILLON was terrific, Neve Campbell - oh you bad girl. In fact, I truthfully thought Kevin and Matt were the ones that were going to get together in the end, that is just how twisted these characters get, and I didn't want to be there for that!

I had a bit of trouble seeing Matt DILLON as a high school teacher, still think of him as a little boy, but he gave a great performance. You just knew when the girls knocked on the door wanting to wash his jeep there was going to be major trouble. Did you SEE those girls? And, frankly, I have never had THAT much fun washing a car. Next thing you know the word rape is tossed about and supported by Ms. Campbell. In walks Kevin Bacon, policeman in charge.

Kevin's acting style has been evolving for quite a while (really, how many movies has he made anyway?) and getting better all the time. Jeez I still get chills when I watch him in Tremors, what was he thinking? His portrayal of the gritty policeman made me want to confess.

All in all, he said-she said (oops, another Kevin!) and bodies are everywhere. First they are dead, then alive and living somewhere else. I really expected the blonde (sorry, can't think of her name right off) to come walking out of the house in the end as well.

Honestly, I could have done without the shower scenes - there is an age when it is no longer 'cute' to expose some flesh and I think these guys have reached it. If this review is a little confusing you should try watching the movie. I haven't been so confused since The Matrix and I still haven't figured that one out yet!
