Showtime's newest series, "Nurse Jackie", premieres on Monday, June 8, 2009, at 10:30 PM following their smash hit, "Weeds". I really enjoyed this show. The characters were funny and addictive, the plot was very deep, but it sometimes moved along slowly.

The newest Showtime series has the makings of a good strong staple with mature, complex characters involved in some pretty tense, seriocomic situations. Many people have been comparing the show to House, ER, and the like. I don't watch those shows. I didn't even watch Strong Medicine on Lifetime earlier this decade.
