A Quick Tip by Fionnchu

I need to re-watch this. There seemed one scene that did not tell all, and I am not sure what went down as a result. The ending seemed a bit over the top even by creator Martin McDonagh's standards (I've read most of his violent, scabrous plays) and I think it threw off the tone built up more by characterization than slugfests earlier. The plot lacked the suspense I'd wanted earlier, but I agree that this is a satisfying film far above the norm.

I need to re-watch this too. I was real distracted with friends when I first saw it. It was good, but I didn't get the chance to absorb everything.

After a killing that went very wrong, two Irish hitmen hole up in Bruges, Belgium, and wait for their boss to tell them what to do next. The younger thug, Ray (Colin Farrell), hates everything about the storybook-pretty city, while his older partner, Ken (Brendan Gleeson), loves sightseeing. They meet some interesting characters and then the phone call comes from the boss - and it's bad news for one of them.      I'd heard a lot about how wonderful this movie was and, …
