Big Love Continues to Deliver

Why would a hopeless romantic like me be madly in love with a show about a man who splits his time among three wives? Because it is so good at being so bad. Big Love is Seventh Heaven meets The Sopranos with some General Hospital mixed in. . It's all about people defending their religion yet every single commandment is broken on almost a weekly basis. It's everything you know is wrong and that why it's so fun to watch

Did you love seasons 1 and 2? Holy hell- season 3 will knock your socks off. Every single episode is full of surprises, twists and intrigue. I gasped every week. I cried most weeks. I was thrown for a loop and I loved it.

In just  a few weeks you've got:
and someone pushes their own father down a flight of stairs.

I'll go to church twice a week as long as it makes up for the fact that I'm totally addicted to this show.

What did you think of this review?

Not interested in the show but I enjoyed the fact that you used "among" instead of "between" three wives! Soaps are diabolical! Once you've spent hundreds of hours sorting out who's who and why they're doing to whatever to whoever else you just can't throw away all that time you've invested and they have you for life. MUAHAHAHAHA!

That's IS the catch of soaps, isn't it? I somehow got sucked into the Days world in high school and vowed "If there's a third "Kristin", I'm never watching this show again!" Yeah, there were five Kristins and I kept watching.

While I don't know how accurately it portrays Mormon life, I have to admit that this is one drama that I rarely miss.

An exciting escape into the taboo world of polygamy--and the drama that comes with it.

Maybe the 3rd best show on TV ever. Great writing, makes an obscure American culture mainstream and likeable. Margine is the Best.

Let's dispense with the business at hand up front – if you're looking a for quality drama that makes an hour seem like 15 minutes and has you hooked from the first episode, watch "Big Love" on HBO. Here's why:  I first saw previews and teasers, I think, sometime shortly after my beloved "Six Feet Under" left HBO's airwaves, and "Deadwood" was in perpetual limbo. I like Bill Paxton, adore Jeanne Tripplehorn, and think Chloe Sevigny is wildly underrated. So, I figured, why not? Plus, there's …
