Other than the Bourne films and Good Will Hunting, I am not much of a Matt Damon fan and the trailers for this film reminded me of "The Forgotten" which was terrible. I was pleasantly surprised. I generally like Matt Damon and he was solid but Emily Blunt ensured that it was more romantic than the usual Philip Dick story but not also ensures its not just a chick flick with special effects.

If you go to Fort Morgan Colorado, you will find the grave of master essayist Philip K Dick. If you listen carefully enough beyond the wind blowing through the trees, you'll hear a faint whizzing sound of his body spinning in his casket faster than a tumble drier. Before reading the reviews and seeing the movies, I had assumed that this would be some dude action flick, but it turned out to be pleasantly more than that. I loved it. It's a trippy and thought-provoking movie with a great cast.

I can't wait to see this movie! An Inception conspiracy theory flick that makes you question self will and fate....or that's my take on it. "The Adjustment Bureau" is one of the first truly great films of this already fledgling year and it is such a shame that such a great premise, a strong cast and highly intelligent writing goes no further than it should.
