I love music. As a kid, my uncles had the biggest selection of CDs I'd ever seen and there would always be a competition for the stereo during family gatherings. Who's going to be allowed to pick the next CD?!? I like to credit them, their passion for music and their neverending music trivia rounds (who sings this Sammers? What album is it off of? I'll give you initials...) for my curiosity to become a DJ and my wide variety of musical tastes. Here's my list of Pandora stations in no particular order (I didn't include genres which are funk, oldies soul, underground hip-hop, classic hip-hop):
Do you really need to ask why? MJ will always be the King of Pop and with that responsibility comes the fun mix of old skool MJ to Prince to Otis Redding to Jackson 5 to, of course, Janet or Miss Jackson if you're nasty.
My favorite R&B singer. Her voice is amazing and just easily reaches into your soul to communicate to you exactly how she feels every time she sings. That is what an R&B singer is supposed to do. Her station ranges from old skool soul to Erykah Badu to India.Arie to Stevie Wonder to Mary J to Sade and everything in between.
The Godfather of Soul and The Hardest Working Man in Show Biz- his live shows were the best I'd ever seen. I'd only put MJ up to JB's level as far as an entertainer goes. His station is all funk, blues, and R&B goodness.
One of the illest female emcees to ever have rapped a lyric poetic, her voice is distinctive and always flows perfectly within the instrumental background. This station has a bunch of underground hip-hop as well as female emcees, how can you go wrong?

The Roots- the only live hip-hop band from Philly that's made such an amazing impact on hip-hop as a genre. Every single member is incredibly talented, making it really difficult to pick a favorite. Their station has a lot of old skool and intelligent hip-hop.
Oh Billie...no one can make you feel the blues more than Billie except maybe Etta, which is played a lot on here. All the great female blues and early soul singers are on here, everyone needs some good blues from time to time.
One of my favorite DJs to come out of SF, he has a band that's called Dubtronic Science and the way he remixes songs is just amazing. His station has some dub, funk, soul, R&B and a little hip-hop- all the good stuff!
Let's just say his music is always sensual and will instantly relax you into a mellow state of mind. Noted as one of the inventors of trip-hop, his music is a fusion of ambient beats and hip-hop. Portishead and Massive Attack make frequent appearances on here as well.
One of my favorite blues/soul singers of all time, Sam sings one of my favorite songs (Change Gonna Come) and his music brings you back to the beginning of it all. This station is early soul, R&B and blues.
Jack Johnson is awesome, hands down. I had the great pleasure of meeting him once and I've never met a nicer, more mellow artist in my life. He carries his positive vibe into his music, so that when you listen to it, you can't help but be happy. This station also has some John Mayer (not the nicest artist I've met) and Dave Matthews as well as other acoustic rock artists.
Boz Scaggs...this is definitely one that was influenced by the family. I grew up with Boz Scaggs and when I went to his show a couple of years ago, I had forgotten how many of his songs that I loved! His station has a great blend of blues, R&B and some rock.
Janis, Janis, Janis....was there ever a more hardcore blues/rock singer? With her bottles of SoCo and idolization of Etta James, Janis rocked harder and lived faster than any other female singer of the 60s and 70s. This station is all classic rock- The Doors, The Beatles, The Stones, Led Zeppelin...all the oldies but goodies!
Here's another high school memory for you- I was a skater chick that listened mostly to classic rock, punk and grunge. Nirvana will always make me smile, kind of ironic, isn't it? This station is all old school grunge, back when alternative rock....well, rocked!
Who doesn't love Bob? Seriously. No matter what your mood, Bob will always chill you out and make you think a little. He always fused positive messages with political messages and let you know that everything's gonna be alright. His station has all reggae, dub, ragga, and all that good stuff!
Marvin Gaye is one of my faves and has such a wonderful range- from soul to R&B to funk, he does it all flawlessly and so does his station. His station includes a lot of appearances from Al Green, Tammy Terrell, Aretha, Chaka and so many greats.
