I always loved this song because it expresses the frustration of so many of us who oppose the innane land use policies we have pursued in this country over the past 50 years. Another "SuperWalMart" anyone?

Good comments. What struck me about this song was my mis-definition of "old man" as in "took away my old man." I thought "father", not "boyfriend" (woman singing). Funny.
