The Irish lass in me loves the genre. The singer in me loves the artistry. Since buying it, I have given this CD again and again as a gift to friends who love music, Celtic or otherwise.

While I love Celtic music, I generally avoid CD's with the word "Celtic" in the name. "Celtic Moods" or "Celtic Journey" or whatever -- they all seem like tired rehashes of the same 10 or 12 songs that I've heard before, and probably already have on other CD's.    Happily, "Celtic Woman" is not at all like that. It's a refreshingly different sort of performance, featuring five very talented young women singing and performing traditional songs as well as several modern pieces, …
