Danny White's musical style has alot of energy that makes one reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny, and John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown band. Many of the songs have some catchy hooks and some unique effects. However, at the moment Danny has a ways to go before he is on the same level as Bruce. I can't even say he is an equal to John Cafferty. For starters, his vocals are not as strong and clear as either of the above mentioned performers. The lyrics(when you can decipher them) do not add much to the scene that the music tries to create. Many of the Song Titles are kind of weak. Oooh Yeah, And I..., There She Goes Again, Is It All are not the titles that legends are made of. Finally, the tone of the music is pretty constant. Danny White must be using the same chords throughout most of the ten songs on the album. There are some creative embellishments that distinguish each of these songs but only slightly.
Don't get me wrong, this is a good album. But only time will tell if Mr. White can develop his craft and voice to become a major star.
