Martin van Drunen has become a heavily favored vocalist in the death metal genre, and for good reason. Martin's vocal style is absolutely sick, tortured, and brutal. His careers in the old school death metal bands Pestilence and Asphyx have yielded some of the best death metal ever, and his other contributions to various bands are really good, too. Martin split from Pestilence in 1991 and is currently the frontman for Hail of Bullets and Asphyx, and has done vocals for Bolt Thower int he mid 90's (though no official material was recorded with him in the band) and for Comecon's 1993 album "Converging Conspiracies."
