She & Him's second album.

Volume Two is the second album from the duo of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward. The production of M. Ward and the sweet melancholy vocals and lyrics provided by the talented Zooey makes this disc a winner. The album's tracks feature the single "In the Sun", a cheerful and poppy song with a sad melancholic overtone. This is what I like about the band and it makes it stand out from the rest of the pack. Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward serve up another slice of Phil Spector-esque, summertime pop and country-tinged wistfulness.
