From reading through several Amazon lists praising this recording, I had to give David Brubeck's Time Out one a few listens. It is truly a feast for the ears loaded with many symphonic embellishments. All seven tracks are special in their own way. Its hard to choose a favorite.

This record has so many spunky rhythms and captivating melodies that the overall effect is soothing to my soul. Its truly a pleasure to listen to each instrumentalist. What make these guys so spectacular is that its all technique and style without resorting to excessive volume.

Anyway, I am very impressed with this recording and would highly recommend it especially for those those new to the many styles of jazz.
