A mid-level pop band who rode their high-pitched lead singers' vocals to "country" popularity, Rascal Flatts shouldn't even be mentioned in the same paragraph with the word "country."

Rascal Flatts is an American country rock band founded in Columbus Ohio, composed of Gary LeVox (lead vocals) Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, keyboards & vocals) and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, vocals). The treo has released twenty-three singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, with ten number ones.
Rascal Flatts has released six studio albums and a greatest hits album, including Rascal Flatts (2000) and Melt (2002), which were certified 2× Multi-Platinum and 3× Multi-Platinum, respectively, in the US. Feels Like Today ( 2004) and Me and My Gang (2006), received 5× Multi-Platinum and 4× Multi-Platinum certifications respectively. 2007's Still Feel Good, their most recent album, is certified 2× Multi-Platinum.
