A mid-level pop band who rode their high-pitched lead singers' vocals to "country" popularity, Rascal Flatts shouldn't even be mentioned in the same paragraph with the word "country."

If you asked me what type of music I liked when I was younger, my response would be "everything but country." I was just never into it. After finishing college, I mapped out a southern route from NJ to CA, packed up my little scion and headed out for a big move. The classic radio stations that I had grown up with were gradually fading with every mile we drove. Rascal Flatts has released six studio albums and a greatest hits album, including Rascal Flatts (2000) and Melt (2002), which were certified 2× Multi-Platinum and 3× Multi-Platinum, respectively, in the US. Feels Like Today ( 2004) and Me and My Gang (2006), received 5× Multi-Platinum and 4× Multi-Platinum certifications respectively. 2007's Still Feel Good, their most recent album, is certified 2× Multi-Platinum. Their new album, Unstoppable, was released on April 7, 2009.
