Great Fusion Fun !

I think this is one of Mclaughlins best albums and one of the best Fusion albums of the 70's,  (Along with Return to Forevers, Romantic Warrior, Al Di Meola's Elegant Gypsy and Weather Reports Heavy Weather.) All great masterpieces and incredibly Fun music, full af the great blend of stylistic elements that make up the Fusion blend so to speak.

Mclaughlin plays both Electric and Acoustic Guitars and his playing is Virtuosic and Sophisticated and so are his Compositions,

The Music on this album is full of Passion, Energy  and Intellect and all the other players on the album are top musicians, Specially good is the brilliant Indian violinist L. Shankar which had played with Mclaughlin in the brilliant group Shakti.

John's Fusion is a blend of Jazz, Rock, Blues, 20th century Classical Music and Classical Indian Music (with a dash of pop in one song). And all that creates a higly original Fusion blend which is his trademark.

I must say that It's great to live in a world where Master Musicians like Mclaughlin create healthy and stimulating pleasures in a CD form like this, so thanks John.
