I cannot believe what kind of sounds this quartet pulled off!  This string quartet is a part of what is known as Vitamin Records, and has performed many tributes to various artists such as Alicia Keys, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, and now Kanye West.

The quartet performs 10 of Kanye's songs, including Touch the Sky, Flashing Lights and the Good Life.  Each performance is definitely AMAZING.  I still can't get over how great this album tribute is...The last song, You Gotta Know, is a song inspired by the music of Kanye West, and is also a great creation.

I HIGHLY recommend all Kanye fans to take a look and check out the masterpiece that Vitamin Records and the String Quartet just released to honor Mr. West himself.

I LOVE Vitamin String Quartet- they tend to be every modern brides go-to for cocktail hour or walking down the aisle songs. But, much more than that, they bring strings to a much cooler level than I would've ever imagined by covering pop and rock songs. If you're looking for a fun remix of your favorite song, it's highly likely that they play it!

That is when they seem to serve the best food. After going for a few weeks, it suddenly became apparent why. It was senior night. I had always wondered …

Comprised of a rotating collective top-flight Los Angeles musicians, The Vitamin String Quartet puts a classical spin on many popular genres of pop, punk, and metal and is widely known for its tributes to cutting-edge rock acts. VSQ’s innovative approach and dedication to seeking out great material highlights just how distinctive the string quartet is.

"Vitamin String Quartet is about applying rock n' roll attitude to classical technique," says Tom Tally, a violist and arranger who has performed on and produced over thirty-five Vitamin String Quartet albums, which is one reason VSQ can count renowned film composer Danny Elfman, members of Tool, Deftones, The Killers, and Underoath as fans.

VSQ's innovative approach and dedication to seeking out great material highlights just how distinctive the string quartet is. Last year Disney invited VSQ to contribute a track to the second all-star tribute to Tim Burton"s The Nightmare Before Christmas, on which the films original score was reinterpreted by bands like Tiger Army, All-American Rejects, Plain White Ts, and DeVotchKa. Their music has been heard in film and on television, most notably on the finale of So You Think You Can Dance, the label receives emails from fans requesting the quartet to play their hometown, while bands like Mastodon and Coheed & Cambria have been known to play VSQ recordings at live shows. Several groups including As I Lay Dying and Dream Theater have initiated and ...
