What can I say, all the new tracks are noteworthy particularly the versions of Rock N Roll Doctor and On Your Way Down. Lowell George can sure sing the blues like no other white man. And Billy Payne's piano is just superb. The many solos of the other band members are outstanding particularly Ritchie Haywards drums on Day or Night and Gradneys Bass on Spanish Moon and A Day At The Dog Races.
Little Feat were sure ahead of their time with all their creative tones. Its a shame that this CD does not get more notoriety in more mainstream circles. Possibly because many of the songs exceed the five minute mark. However, its quality that counts here and this 2 disc set is clearly a Desert Island Disc. I sincerely would recommend this recording to almost anyone as Little Feat's musical influence touches on many forms of popular music both past and present.
