"The Truth About Love" is an excellent album by Pink. She is not afraid to sing what she thinks and feels. This is what makes this album Pink's finest work. I have never heard the word slut in a pop song before. "Slut Like Me" does not demean women. It empowers them in a way. Pink is just singing that women have the same kind of sexual desires as men do. This song might turn some people off by the title, but I hope it doesn't. The title track is the best song about unconditional love I have heard. Pink shows her tender side with this song. I have never heard a song about infidelity from a woman's point of view. Pink accomplishes this with the song "Where Did The Beat Go". This song offers a new perspective on the subject of cheating. "Walk Of Shame" is the best song on the album. It has a great beat that gets me moving. The piano playing on the song "The Great Escape" is beautiful. This is a song about not giving up on a friend in need. "Beam Me Up" is a tender melodic song with lovely guitar playing. "Just Give Me A Reason" is a duet with a singer by Nate Ruess. This song is about a man and a woman trying out the problems in their relationship. "Try" is a song that motivates me not to give up and keep moving forward. I love the spirit of hope in the songs "Just Give Me A Reason" and "Try". I love this new album.
