Vivo Per Lei

When I first heard Hayley Westenra, it was during her launch of her album Pure in 2003. She's young, beautiful & has the voice of an angel! I was very much enchanted by the song Beat of Your Heart & Pokarekare Ana. There is nothing more pure than living in New Zealand & having a vocal as sweet as Alpine Pure.

I shall not try to describe someone's voice or music, I do believe one hears with the ears & the heart, not with words. Hence, what you like about a piece of music is really up to you; naturally, with the help of a good earphone or speakers.

Pokarekare Ana is a song from the Pacific, I believe. When in Bora Bora, I had it embedded into my subconscious through classical conditioning. It is something I often do when in a new destination. I'm glad to say it is one of my most effective way to total recall. Try it...

Here's what I like about Hayley's music. Her music often takes me on a journey to that part of myself which cannot be seen or touched. It is a connection I make with myself, the observer seeing the observed. The journey of the heart. You know it exists, you can feel it distinctively. It is the moment when you feel you are glad to be alive that very day simply because you chance upon something so beautiful and so touching. That is what music often does to me.

And today, Andrea Bocelli & Hayley Westenra give me another such gift!

I had never heard of her- my mom's a HUGE Bocelli fan and I know she'll love Hayley. I completely agree with you when you say that you listen to music with the heart! Thanks...

She's more soprano than pop, perhaps not as well known in the U.S. either. But at only 22, well, she's already pretty famous in Asia!

You guys are so lucky, you have all the dope stuff out there ;P

Yep, & now my co. came up with testing temperature every morning! We are told not to go to work if we have a fever, thanks to those swine bugs, I can now declare myself holiday! Perhaps tomorrow :-) hehehe...

Nice...I love working at Lunch too much to miss it, which sounds like BS but, for the first time in my life I mean it LOL...this place ROCKS! But, it's always good to give yourself a day off from time to time, we all need a break!

Haha... I didn't realised you work at LUNCH! JR will surely kill me if you take off work! But, he knows me... I used to work on his other site 7 days a week & just 5 hours sleep a night for, lets see, 3 years without pay! He owes me tons of lunches... now it's payback time, i guess ;-) with That's quite a bit to pay for a domain name, perhaps he can acquire another one of mine! :-)

LOL...well, make him pay you back for SURE! Hmmm....we'll have to concoct something ;P

Sure, find me a buyer & I'll pay you a commission! I've an offer but it's not the price I'm looking for, so, am holding onto the investment. The buzz word is LATTE.TV :-)
