Now if you have heard the songs Blah, Blah, Blah or Tik Tok you may know about the artist i am talking about. This 22 year old Tennessee native is one of the new up and coming singers in main-stream music today. She has done background vocals for Flo-rider's Right round and what sets her apart with her hard image is she is doing it for the music not the money because she was not paid for those same background vocals or paid for them. Kesha just shrugged it off and said she isn't in it for the money. You may have first saw here in the show the simple life in 2005 where she was starting to do demos to peruse a record deal. Ke$ha also proves that you can be a genius without finishing high school because despite nearly perfect sat scores she left high school at 17 for her record deal.
I like the song kiss n tell the most because it sounds like a new spin on the norm cookie cutter bubble-gum pop. This song is different yeah it has a pop beat but the lyrics are not bubblegum-ish. I compare Ke$ha to a mix between Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. She is friends with Katy Perry as i read and the are aspiring musicians together.
Ke$ha's music touches on the things of today such as older men trying to hit on younger women with dinosaur and Kiss n tell is a song about those guys who cheat and get caught. She has a different image to her and music then that of the normal cause she can combine funny but true lyrics into an angsty package. Ke$ha has a bright future ahead of her with this kind of music.

I find her music vapid and totally pointless, as well as occasionally offensive - though to offend you must be in some way relevant or meaningful, and that gives her more credit than deserved actually. So forced, contrived and pathetic. Her music literally hurts my ears and makes me feel dumber for having even been exposed to it -- and that's coming from someone who typically loves pop music, … more
