About NYWriterBarbaraGarro
When I am not writing or painting or teaching, I am reading, literally hundreds of non-fiction books every year. Why? Because I love learning from other people's journeys. Authors work hard to bring readers their information and I feel honored to learn what they have discovered about their subject. Often, I latch onto a subject and read everything I can get my hands on. For many years, that subject has been spiritual, metaphysical, Jesus and other holy men and women. This helps me in several ways. I paint religious subjects: God/Jesus/Blessed Mother/Holy Trinity; write books about Jesus (From Jesus to Heaven with Love: A Parable Pilgrimage is due out as an E-Book by ebooksonthe.net in May 2010) and will be released by Cambridge Books US by November 1, 2010; and have written spiritual poetry books Fortress of Faith and Symphonies of Spirit. On Lunch, I have two communities:  It's Not Your Fault You're Fat and Parable Prescriptions for Suffering Souls. Come visit and comment. Feedback makes blogging less of a lonely activity.

For those of you who are interested in what this avid reader has to say about the books she has read, Amazon.com had dozens of my non-fiction book reviews, as well as Lunch.com. (There would be more on there, but Amazon instituted a new rule that you have to be a current buyer to post book reviews. Since I do not give credit card information over the Internet, I am unable to post on Amazon.)

Besides writing books, I also line edit books for authors. My latest project for George Forss was his new 2009 book, Enos, a fascinating 673-page book about a group's alien encounter. Spending 18 years writing syndicated business columns published in all 50 states and 21 foreign countries, helps me to edit copy into clear, need-to-know flowing text, where chapters flow into each other.

My corporation, Electric Envisions, Inc., The Happiness  Company, helps people have happier lives through accomplishing their dreams and goals, whether those dreams and goals are painting, writing, slimming down or just living happier lives.

My love of nature takes me outside for walks every day and I am have managed to say at my high school weight and shape for over, well, a number of years.

Do visit the website:  http://www.BarbaraGarro.com or http://www.ElectricEnvisions.com  People say that a short visit to our sites provides them with a quick and easy stress reducer and energizer. Try it!

What fun it would be to hear from you and learn who you are and what you do.
