James Wesley Rawles is a talented writer and survivalist with a story to tell.

He believes that the world is heading for a financial disaster that will have cataclysmic results.

As the story opens, we learn of the chaos in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and other cities due to the increase in the price of oil, making it unaffordable. The U.S. dollar falters and electricity goes off the grid permitting gangs and criminals to band together. Law, as we know it, disappears.

Groups of people have prepared by having a disaster action plan. They get together in various places to defend their freedom. Family and friends become the most important criteria. Other things these people all seem to have in common is a faith in a higher being, a belief in freedom and desire to do whatever is necessary to bring law and order back to where our founding fathers wanted.

The plot is complicated but well thought out and authentic. The author also provides hints of survival ideas for people to consider.

The author has the unique ability to take a group of colorful characters from around the United States and weave them together to make a story that will inform and entertain the reader.
